Art Nouveau Pattern Sterling c.1923 D'Orleans Butter Spreader (Set of Six)
A lovely set of 6 solid handled butter spreaders with sterling blades. The Towle Company introduced this graceful Art Nouveau pattern in 1923. There were several different die castings for the D'Orleans butter spreaders throughout this pattern's production, each having the Towle logo in differing places. Care has been taken to match all 6 of these with the logo in the same place (the handle of the blade).
All of these pieces are in great shape with no major issues other than light surface scratches. Total weight is around 6.4 Troy oz, and each are approximately 6" in length.
